Mike has been working within the insurance industry for over 30 years starting out as an Office Junior but working tirelessly to become a Senior Placing Broker for a selection of well-established Lloyd’s Placing Brokers, working within the UK Property, Liability and Construction markets.

He brings to us an extensive knowledge of the industry and over the years he has continued to build and maintain excellent relationships with many of the Lloyd’s and London Markets leading Underwriters and brokers which allows us to get a achieve greater direct access to Underwriters and enhance the coverage and premiums we are able to offer.

Appointed a Director of Quote-It Limited in January 2017, Mike remains heavily involved with the day to day running of the company.

Lee joined Quote-It Limited in the Summer of 2018 having previously worked at Aon Ltd for 19 years. Lee has worked with and continues to manage a variety of insurance risks including Professional indemnity, Office, Motor Fleet, Cyber and Liability. Lee has a background in dealing predominantly with Solicitors, Accountants and Surveyors in particular those that require motor fleet, professional indemnity and office insurances.

Using his wealth of experience, Quote-It Limited have been able to access more exclusive markets within the insurance industry helping expand our capabilities and providing us with the opportunity to provide a wider range of products to our clients.

Chris Mahers – Account Handler

Chris joined Quote It Limited in January 2018 after his insurance journey began working at Aon for nearly 6 years as an Account Handler. With his experience predominately coming in the Motor Fleet market, Chris spent most of his time working within professional risks arena arranging cover for Solicitors, Accountants & Surveyors to name just a few.

Chris has been able to expand his knowledge of specific insurance products into the realms of Professional Indemnity, Office and Cyber Insurance since joining Quote-It Limited and continues to expand his knowledge base by exploring new areas as and when they arrive within the industry. Using this new found knowledge, he has been able to seek out new opportunities place policies designed for specific professions, and therefore is able to offer a more tailored product for his clients. This has helped Chris found new relationships with insurers that can be maximised to ensure that Chris is able to offer the best cover available at the most competitive prices.

During the past 20 years, Lee has worked with in nearly every facet of the insurance industry from Liability & Professional Indemnity to Directors’ & Officers’ and Cyber. Acting as your Account Manager, he sees it as his role to be your go to person for any Insurance related matters. During those 20 years, Lee has strengthened his knowledge of key areas including Retail & Manufacturing, Financial Institutions as well as the Motor Trade. His career has seen him work within both the UK & International markets both within the Insurance & Reinsurance arenas. We therefore believe that he is well qualified to look after your Insurance needs and requirements.

Lee also passed his Cert CII exam in 2005 and remains a member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance.
